      derek is one of the greatest baseball players of all time. he is the only yankee in history up to date. he is not only a great athlete, but he is also one of the nicest people you could ever meet. his family is always making sure he is taking care of himself and that his grades are high. when ever derek jeter accomplishes something, he smiles, not becomes a hot dog but will do anything to give the fans well payed money.

   Derek Jeter has hit many milestones in his career. he has got 3,000 hits as a yankee. the only yankee of the most succsesful sports franchise history. he is the player who has accomplished this and acts like nothing happened. during games when he is getting interviewed. he has kept his emotion in his boady throughout his life

      In this response, i will show you how the murder of four teens started a war. By Patricia Smith the author is trying to show us what little it takes for something to become something big. she is saying that after four innocent people got murdered what led to a war. she shows this by giving her ideas and showing quotes of what other people think. I agree with what she is saying in this article. I think that this war had to happen. this was the right thing to do in my opinion. In this response i will show you why Israel was right and attacked Hamas.
      In how the murder of four teens started a war Israel attacked Hamas after four teenagers had been murdered. i totally agree with Israel here. the author definitely convinced me even more. She gives huge examples of how Hamas reacted to them. i really don't think that Hamas had to murder four innocent people. But they just wanted more attention. the author gives a example of how it started by saying,"they were kidnapped and murdered in cold blood by beasts. Hamas is responsiple, and Hamas will pay."
      I think that this is a very good way to show how the war was started and what was the whole meaning of the start.
       In conclusion i think that these were just some bad people trying to start something. The murders of four teens are horrible under any circumstances. I agree with her that Hamas did not have to do anything and it would fine. But they murdered four innocent teens that did not diserve it. If this never happend then the seven week devestating war would not have happen and would have saved 73 Israelis and 2,100 Palestinians.

    Megan cox Gurdon the author of darkness too visible states that fiction is too dark for teens. she wants us to know why teen books should be banned.

     Megan cox Gurdan wants me to feel that teen fiction is to dark for teens by saying"But a careless young reader, who seeks out depravity , will find himself surrounded by images not of joy or beauty, but of damage, brutality and losses of the most horrendous kinds." 

      I think that i have to disagree with her. I think that books should not be around kids that don't want to grow up immature, but for teenagers i think that they have already matured enough not to stay stuff that may be harm full to some people. Something i noticed after reading this article was that some people think that teen fiction is not for people and that some people think that it is fine

Michael is considered one of the best pitchers in the little league. He has the fastest pitch of all time for his age. His knuckle and curveball have the best movements. Michael has had good and bad moments. He has thrown many shutouts in his career. On the other hand, one thing he needs to work on is the control of his fastball. He has hit people with this pitch before. But his most memorable moment was when he threw a perfect game.
Michael needs to work on the control of his fastball. As he has hit many batters before. But at the plate this time was Micheal’s biggest rival. It was Carlos. Carlos has hit Michael more than anyone else has. Michael is not known for his accuracy. But, he is not known for hitting many batters before either. Carlos stepped up to the plate. He looked very frightened. He was shaking. Michael looked at Carlos and made a grin. Michael threw the first pitch right down the middle strike one. Second pitch swing and a miss. Strike two. The third pitch was outside ball one. The next pitch was up and in. ball two next pitch went behind Carlos. 3-2 next pitch, it hits Carlos in the helmet. Carlos dugout came running out and chased Michael then Micheal’s team came out as Michael looked over at Carlos He was in shock. It was the longest knockout pitch in history.
Michael has thrown many shutouts in his career. He has some good games and bad games. But today it would be one of he greatest pitching performances any pitcher has and will ever do. Michael threw a perfect game. After the first 3 innings his confidence went up. He had thrown 7 strikeouts so far up at bat was Carlos first pitch was swung and was a groundnut 3 outs. Now in the 6^th inning the final batter was Carlos surprise right. First pitch was a fastball to the left of the strike zone but got the call strike on. But the next 2 pitches were incredible. Second pitch was a curveball that looked like it was going to hit his knees bu it went up into the strike zone. Third pitch probably the best pitch he has ever thrown. It was a knuckle that was about to hit Carlos in the same spot as last time but it curved into the top right part of the strike zone. Strike three. As the pitch was thrown Carlos flew to the side of the other side. Micheal’s team was laughing at Carlos and they started cheering. Michael has just threw his first perfect game.
Michael is probably the best pitcher in the little league. He has it all the fastest fastball for his age, the best movement on his curveball and knuckle ball, and confidence after pitching a perfect game. He may not like Carlos to much but he is still one of the best pitchers to ever play in the little league.

  This summer i read a book that i was interested in. i really am in to non fiction. this book gives you a variety of dangerous animals. inluding my new oppsesion bears. it shows you how rare it is to come across. Then they show your survival rate, how to survive the attack and how to prevent it.
